Question on genetic testing...
I know they do all sorts fo genetic testing/backgroung once you're PG. However, I'd like to get "mapped out" and have my DH do the same prior to conception in the event that we may have genetic issues.
Can this be done? If so, who do I see?
Have any of you gone through this?

This exactly what a genetic counselor does. Both times I had my amnio, I had it done. Call your OBGYN and see if they have one they use.

My Husband and I went for genetic testing before we conceived. They run tests on you first and if you come up a carrier for something then they test your husband. We went to Madonna perinatal in bayshore, they were very helpful. Just ask your OB/Gyn and they can set it up.
