Question for those that had formula covered by insurance
We just found out our insurance is covering Sarah's formula at 100%! YAY! It's being delivered right to our door each month too
But I have a question - for those with insurance cos that cover your DC's formula, were you reimbursed for the formula you had to purchase on your own before the approval was granted? Did you just submit your receipts for reimbursement?

Yes, they are suppose to reimburse you.Submit the receipts..call ins company.
I didnt purchase any prior, doc kept giving me freebies.
My sis is still waiting on the money back though...her daughter is 7 months old.

We are in the process of getting Neocate we purchased reimbursed.
Def call your insurance company for the right form and process.
Mine wanted the prescription receipt, the one that has the infio on it and not the cash register ones to get our money back. Ours is covered 100% too.

I had alimentum & now neocate covered since DD has a milk protein allergy, considered medical reason, otherwise mine wouldn't be covered
