Question for a friend regarding high blood pressure during pregnancy
When you were pregnant, did you have high blood pressure during your whole entire pregnancy? Where you on medication and was it safe? My friend's blood pressure is a little high and is currently on medication. She is afraid that the medication will not be safe for the baby. TIA

I had pregnancy induced hypertension and was on labetelol. I was told that the side effects of having high blood pressure were worse then the meds they put me on. I am not sure if that was the reason that one of my boys was IUGR though, since hypertension can ause that, but there are many issues that can cause IUGR in twins, including Twin to Twin Transfer.
