question about when to stop taking BCP
I wanted to stop the pill next week but i have a dentist appointment coming up and i didn't want to have to worry about x-rays and finding out i need work done.
But my question is, does it matter when you stop taking them during the month? Can you stop mid month or should i wait until i finish the pack and not start a new one?

You can have dental work while you are pregnant, so you should be fine.
I would recommend stopping the pill when you are done with the pack, that is what my gyn told me, because then you run the chance of getting AF twice, and that might be confusing.

You can have dental work but need to be careful with X-Rays.
You have to finish the entire pack. It will completely through off your cycle if you don't.

Thanks for the info.
My dentist appointment is in the middle of the month/pack and i really didn't want to wait but i guess i will have to hold off another month.
I have had a bad year with dental work so i want to make sure i am done with it all!
