Question about sizes (1st birthday shirt related)
OK, yes it's another 1st birthday question. . .sorry! but Jill (sj-girl) is awesome and found this on etsy for Joey's 1st & I literally just couldn't resist. . .
my question is. . .the girl asked me if I wanted to get 18months? It never crossed my mind to go bigger. . .WWYD? Joey is on the "smaller" side, still fits comfortably in 6-12 months, or 9 month carter (whatever).

I do find some of the novelty shirts run smaller than Carters. Plus, its a onsie style so if its doesn't fit, your stuck. I would get the 18 mos.

actually the more I think about it. His party will be in November, so I'll probably have a long sleeve onsie under it. . .

definitely order up.
I ordered Logan's bday outfit 3 months ago and ordered up to 2T, and it barely fits him now

I'd do 18 mons. Mason is true to size and I ordered a 12 month novelty shirt. It fit him great and now a month later it barely fits him

I think 18mos is safe to get. DS is probably gonna be 24m or 2T for his 1st birthday!  I looooove that onesie by the way! Its perfect for the theme!

can you ask the vendor what brand of shirt she uses (I am assuming she buys and embroiders) and then try a similar shirt on him at the store to gauge fit?
