Question about ovulation dates and REs.

We started trying in September, but only by not using protection anymore. In October, I used OPKs but tested in the mornings so I don't think it was accurate.

November (with OPKs) -- CD 18
December (with OPKs) -- CD 24
February (with CBEFM) -- CD 17
March (with CBEFM) -- CD 22
April (with CBEFM) -- CD 18

Why does it seem like every other month my ovulation date is changing? Do you think it's because of eggs coming from different sides?

Would this mean that for my May cycle, I'd probably ovulate around CD 22-24?

I'm confused with my body!

And unfortunately I'm moving onto my 9th month and 8th cycle! I'm under 25. I know they say you should wait a year, but do you think an RE is necessary?

What might my next steps be? I think I'm ovulating. What kinds of things would an RE do for me?

I don't think your ovulation dates are THAT crazy off.... basically a 6 day window. I would probably start BDing cd17 and to every other day until you get the go ahead from the CBEFM and then do it 3 days in a row.

as for needing a RE- since you are so young- I wouldn't do it yet...

My best friend was TTC for 9 months as well when she decided to go to the doctor. She is also pretty young. Her doctor schedule her for the test to see if her tubes were blocked. They weren't but she did get PG the next month. I have heard this happening a lot. I don't think there is any harm in calling your RE.

Have you tried jsut speaking to your OB/GYN first? I'd let her refer me to a RE.
