Question about Morning Sickness- help!

I thought maybe someone on here could help me out!

My girlfriend at work is 7 weeks pregnant and throwing up constantly!!!! Is there any prescription that can be given to her to calm her throwing up? It's all the time and she can't work!

Any help you could give would be great!

but her dr. needs to be notified and usually a woman has to be losing lots of weight. lipglossjunky lost about 13 pounds and her dr. put her on it. i was throwing up all over creation with my first pregnancy and since i was gaining not losing my dr. didn't put me on anything. in the meantime, ask her to try "emetrol" it's safe, is basically a sugar syrup and it's with the antacids/pepto at the drug store. it helps...it's not 100%, but it's something.

Re: Question about Morning Sickness- help!

i think i was down about 5 when they gave it to me. i stopped after i started taking it. i still felt sea sick but i wasnt actually throwing up which was a BIG relief.

ETA - i agree though - i think it should be a last resort type a thing. i only took it for about 2 weeks when it was uncontrolable but thank god it stopped.
