Question about Lowes & Home Depot Kitchen Services
Is it better to make an appointment to sit down with someone to discuss remodeling a kitchen or can you just walk in? The few times that DH and I have gone in to look it has seemed very busy. Any tips?

I think you have to make the appointment. DH & I tried to walk into both a few times and it never worked - no one was there or they were busy.
We ended up using Consumer Kitchen & Bath.

I am pretty sure an appointment is the way to go, however my parents used Home Depot for their kitchen installation and had a horrible experience. The contractor did a poor job and there was no accountability or customer service through Home Depot at all.

you do need an appointment. we just used them to get ideas for our kitchen, we never used them to install though.

Same with us. We made an appointment with Lowes and sat with them for about an hour or so but we used them only for ideas and not the actual cabinets or install.

We just walked in and had someone do a prelim design. But we went during the week when it was really slow. We didn't use them, just wanted to get some ideas.
