Question about Ikea bedframes...
DH and I just have the basic bedframe that came with the mattress/boxspring and I feel like we need to at least have a headboard because it just doens't look right.
We are on a budget though, so I was looking at Ikea and it looks like you can only have a mattress with their beds, like there isn't room for a boxspring and a mattress.
Does anyone have one and know about this? It wouldn't be something we'd keep for the rest of our lives, most likely just until we buy a house but I would like to be able to use a boxspring with it too!

I had a ikea bedframe and it just held the mattress...my friend had one as well and it too only held the mattress...have you gone to ikea and checked to see if any hold the boxspring and mattress?

Ours is Ikea too and its just the mattress. I love it though, it's still comfy and was super cheap, just what we were looking for

Most of their beds are platforms, mattress only
Try looking in some bedding and furniture stores for a headbard...
It will attach right to your frame, and you can get one pretty inexpensively
