Question about Deanna's Plan

According to the link I just read, it says to BD the night you get your + on the opk and then 2 consecutive nights, then take a day off, then BD again, and then STOP! then if you dont get pg, dont BD again until cd8 of your next cycle.

so my question is...why do you have to stop BD'ing? why would it be bad to BD during the 2WW?Chat Icon

Re: Question about Deanna's Plan

i dont think its implying that its bad, but from what i've read that plan requires extensive BD so maybe its just saying you can take a break now??

theres no harm in BD during the 2ww

Re: Question about Deanna's Plan

Right, I never got the impression you HAD to stop - just that for TTC purposes, you're off the hook at that point Chat Icon

ETS: The one issue I always thought was weird with this plan was the night you skip - doesn't really make sense.
I go with the BD the night you get your + OPK, and 3 more days to cover bases.

Re: Question about Deanna's Plan

Let me tell you, from experience, after following Deanna's Plan for a few months I was more then happy to stop BD'ing after the days following my Chat Icon -- I was sooo exhausted Chat Icon

You can def. BD after those days - but she is saying that you don't really HAVE to do it anymore. Chat Icon

ITA.

I always did every other day starting at CD 10, then night of +OPK and three more nights.
