question

I know you should wash all the clothes before having the baby wear them...are you supposed to wash all the sheets, blankets and bedding too?

I didn't wash the bedding but I do wash new clothes and sheets

I would! There skin is so sensitive when there so small. I even wash my new sheets before I put them on my bed!Chat Icon So of course I did the same for Julia, I washed everything!

Yes, wash it all... anything that baby's sensitive skin could be rubbing against.

I washed it all initially, but now I'll put him in new clothes without washing them. And if he has just a couple of dirty things I'll throw them in the wash with our stuff and use regular detergent. I just figured that his face is always against our clothes and it never bothered him.

i washed it all, but i wouldn't wash all of the clothes because you never know how big your baby is going to be. my ds was 9lb 5oz and never wore newborn size and grew out of most of his 0-3 month size clothes in the first month.
