Question---Baby with Hip out of place

My cousin just had her baby on Thursday. Her hip is out of place so she is in a tiny cast for about 4 weeks.

If you had any experience with this, is there anything that is easier for the baby to wear, etc?

My sister's baby has this with both hips, so she's currently in a brace for her legs. My sister dresses her in pajamas, or larger sized pants. She stays away from dresses because it makes the brace more obvious and she doesn't want people staring and questioning.
The toughest part, according to my sister at least, is changing her...so she tries to make sure the bottom part of the outfit is easily accessible.
