Queens Nursing Homes - any info?
Hi all,
I posted a question about nursing homes a while back but I didn't get too many responses. I'm trying to find info for DH's gma.
Does anyone have any info about the following nursing homes?
- Dry Harbor Nursing Home in Middle Village
-Hillside Manor in Ja maica Estates
-Little Neck Nursing Home in Little Neck
-Ozanam Nursing Hall in Bayside
Any info would be appreciated. Also, if you have any suggestions on Nursing homes in Nassau specializing in Alzheimer's, that would help too!

I'm not familiar with the ones you posted but DH's grandmother and aunt are in one called Fairview, which is right off of Jewel Avenue on the service road for the grand central, in Forest Hills. It is a nice, clean facility and they are treated good there.

My grandfather was in the Trump Pavillion (next to Jamaica Hospital).
We were very happy with it. That was two years ago.

my grandmother was in parker jewish geriatric (it's next to LIJ). They have a floor designated to alzheimer's patients. HTH.

Please stay away from Dry Harbor in MV....that's where my grandma was and she was miserable there...things went missing and it was a dump (in our opinion). I was very upset when she was there.
