Pumping Moms that go back to work

With DS i pumped when i went back to work when he was 5 months. So I did for that for about one month. This time around i might need to go back to work sooner. So i wanted to know how hard is it to pump if say your baby is like 2 or 3 months when u go back to work until they are like 6 months?

I plan to BF with DD for 6 months like I did with DS. It just seems like this might be very challenging. I remember lugging that darn pump back and forth and how much of a nuisance it was.

I went back to work when DS was 3 months ( he is now 4 months). I am pumping at work and want to do so until he is 6 months. It is a pain, but I don't lug my pump back and forth - i leave it in the office. it would be a pain brining it on the subway everyday. i just recently have noticed a decline in my milk production. I think it is b/c i never drink water and I have to start drinking more. I would really like to say i will do it until 6 months, but who knows!

I did it. Still am. I went back to work when DD was 3 months and she is EBF to date - 6 1/2 months.
