Private room in North Shore?
anyone know if north shore on community drive, great neck, gives you a private room after delivery? if not, think i can get one if i pay more?

There are private rooms available for a fee but they are on a first come, first serve basis. So, it depends on how busy your delivery day is.

i delivered at plainview. assocaited with the manhasset one.. I got a private room. I was brought in at like 2 am to my room and the nurse goes "this is all we had left sorry" lol SORRY.. she must be on crack.. it was the best and even bigger room than the ones with 2 people, and own bathroom.. the sharing rooms had to share with the opposing room also.. thats 4 people to one bathroom!! Yuck.. I didnt ask for private room, didnt have time too.. I say if you can DO ASK!!!
I believe my sis had a private room at your hospital both deliveres there.
