I think the woman who complained the first time is sexist. Using the words "women" and "men" compartmentalizes and pre-judges people based on their anatomy. We are all just "people", and any segregation is unnecessary and uncalled for.

Oh I remember reading about this a year ago. Too much, really too much, but I can see it happening.
Now I'll make my own judgement call, and say I also worked in that neighborhood, with parents and babies. Some of the most annoying, demanding mothers I have ever dealt with in my life. Lots of them are ex-Manhattanites, and there is this real air of entitlement among many of them.
There were some lovely, normal parents in Park Slope too, but lots of the hat police. It made me glad I couldn't afford to live in that area!
