Pregnancy related? I found a lump (breast)
This morning getting in the shower I noticed a hard lump at the very very very top of my right breast. It's high up like straight across from my shoulder/armpit area in the center of my boob.
Could this be pg related? I am starting to freak out.
Anyone else know someone or went through something similiar?

I noticed a lump last night on the left side of my neck. It was scary and I couldn't stop touching it. This morning I didn't feel it anymore.
Our bodies are going through so much. I would make an appt with the dr and check it out.

All these hormones can do very strange things, but definitely call your OB. They do breast checks at the annual exams - so i think that should be a good place - since they will knw all about the PG hormones.

I would call you OB just to be safe, but the night before i tested positive i felt a very hard bump on the top of my left breast. it was large enough that i made my husband feel it and he told me that he wanted me to call the doc first thing in the morning. After I tested positive the next day i forgot about it and by the time i remembered it was gone. If it had stayed, I would have gotten it checked out. Better safe than sorry! good luck!

Call your ob/gyn!!! It could just be from increased hormones etc.. but better to be safe. keep us posted!

I agree - call your obgyn - see what they suggest - it could be a side effect of the pregnancy - you are getting close to the end - probably starting to produce some colostrum - lots of hormones are involved -
I wouldn't worry about it just yet - even though you have reason to be concerned because its something out of the ordinary.
I remember how drastically my vision changed with my first pregnancy and i panicked -went to the eye doctor and they couldn't examine me because i was pregnant - said it was a side effect and vision started getting better a few months after DD was born.
Could it be you pulled a muscle from picking up DD - too much strain? just a possibility? Im about 19 weeks - and i feel a strain, pull everytime i go to pick up DD or bend over in my back, shoulders and belly -

It could def be strained, it feels like a knot at the very very top of my breast, there's hardly any breast tissue there.
Oh i can def feeling pulling and straining in my back, belly and shoulders when I pick up DD, it's worse now since I am near the end.
I have a doc's appt next Friday, I think I will wait out today and the weekend and if it doesn't go away, I think i will move up my appt.
I swear this is a new lump, i check my breasts regularly and there was nothing til this am.
Thank you everyone, i will def keep you guys posted. I just don't need this to be something now, this would be the icing on my cake these days.

If it is, I def know how to treat those! I had plenty of them when I was bf'ing DD.
What gets me though is that when I got plugged ducts, the surrounding area was hot and/or red, there's nothing around this lump.
I guess it couldn't hurt if I treated it like a plugged duct right? I know the rememdies by heart for those.
If it's not a plugged duct, i just hope I wouldn't do any further issues with it.

I would call the doctor. I went into my dr and told him about my lump that appeared. He said 'Welcome to hormonal changes'.  He said lumps were very common during pregnancy because your body is changing so much. But I'd check with your dr to make sure.

I found a lump when I was pregnant. I know how scary it is believe me. My mom passed away from Breast Cancer so I really freaked out.
I called my OB/GYN and came in. He felt it to.
To be on the safe side, he sent me for a mamo and sono of both breasts. Then he had me get in contact with a surgeon.
They did the sono...went to see the other doctor. he told me more than likely it was pregnant related. They had me go in for another sono/mammagram about 3 months later it was gone.
You need to remember your body is going through all sorts of strange changes.
It is probably nothing---but always have stuff checked out.. You will feel so much better.
I have a mammogram every year now... Just to be safe!
