Pre-school full day programs in Wantagh, Bellmore, Merrick area
Do these exist? I'm trying to look ahead for programs for Ryan who is almost 2.5. I may keep him in his daycare setting to simplify my life since obviously Colin goes there too, but I want to see what my options are for when he's 3, or 3.5 next September.
Any suggestions/information?

Precious Kids by the Merrick train station has full time preschool. They start at age 2 which would be good for both your boys. I checked it out and it is really nice and the owner is wonderful.
There is also Sacred Heart School behind me that has full day pre-K but that wouldnt help out with the baby.

The Pre-K room at DD's daycare is more pre-k like than daycare like (if that makes sense.)
Its for ages 3-5- and its all day.
ETA: Obviously since its a daycare, they have rooms for the younger kids too.

See I wonder how mine is too. I know it goes thru Pre-K so he may be fine to stay there, but I don't get a super "educational" vibe from them  although we're happy with them

Wee Friends in Wantagh has a 9-2:30 full day program
Toddler Time in Seaford has an 8-4 program with morning and evening extended hours
Wind n Willow in Massapequa has a 9-3:30 program with morning and evening extended hours

Its definitely very educational from what I can tell. They always have the color and the letter of the week- and from what I hear, they are pretty strict with the kids' behavior to gear them up for Kindergarten!

I am in Bellmore and I know a lot of people in my neighborhood do either Twin Oaks (I think is freeport but they bus and for some reason everyone uses them around here) or Wee Friends (merrick and wantagh) who want longer days. Not sure their hours but I know do longer than half day programs.
