Potentially exciting news
And for once it has nothing to do with Fred!
My old boss is returning to our firm. After all of the agony I went through deciding whether to go with her, I'm thrilled she's coming back!!
I don't know for sure if I'll be asked to work for her again since it will be in a different department but it's a much bigger job than she had before reporting directly to firm management at HQ.
She will call me later to give me details.
I'm laying low for now and trying to get myself busy but I am so happy. I had such a great relationship with her.

If I get to work for her again, it will be at HQ which means a new wardrobe..they mean business over there.
It may also mean more $$ too since my peers over there earn more than I do. It could be great all around.
I will be a lot busier and the hours will be a little longer...I have a lot of flexibility now and probably will lose a good part of that.
But you can't have everything.
