Post C-section Bleeding? Sorry if TMI

So I am 7 weeks PP (c-section) today and the bleeding tapered off for the most part about 3 weeks ago. But today (after starting to walk this week), I am seeing new blood.

I go for an 8 wk PP visit next week, but in the beginning my Dr. said wait at least 6 weeks to exercise, so I did.

I only started walking 3 days ago, but I'm nervous that maybe I overdid it.

I'm scared that I damaged something or possibly set back the healing a bit.

Anyone else have anything like this?

When did your Dr. give you the okay to start regular activity?

Could it be your period? I know I got mine around this time. Are you BF?

The same thing happened to me. i think it is normal. I think it stopped in a few days if I remember correctly. I am bfing but i guess it could be your period too

same thing happened to me...starting bleeding and thought it was my period, but it wasn't enough blood to be my period and I had no period symptoms. Doc said that I may have been doing a little too much and that pp bleeding can last up to 12 weeks. It may also be your period....

Thanks I definitely think I overdid it. Just when I was about to go walking again

I am BFing I don't think it's AF.

It's not alot, but just that it was red scared me a little...

Especially because I've been nervous that maybe I was doing too much from the beginning with DD #1 who is 2 and always wanted to be picked up.

My post pardom bleeding stopped after 4 weeks. Then 3 days later I bled again for 4 days which is how my period usually is. So when I go for my 6 week appt next thursday I am going to ask. I tend to overdue things so after reading the responses here, I am thinking maybe I did over do it also.

I am also hoping to be given the OK to exercise.
