Plug or from exam yesterday? (TMI, but what isn't with pregnancy)
I'm 39 weeks, 2 days. Yesterday I had an internal. I was only dilated a cm, but cervix was very soft. Doc had a little bit of blood on glove. I didn't have any blood later in the day. Earlier today, I had a big glob of mucus in underwear and when I wiped I saw a little brown blood mixed in. The next time I went to the bathroom I had lots of pink mucus. Since then nothing. Very crampy now. I've been crampy, but it's more constant today. Could that've been my plug, or blood from irritation from exam that just worked it's way out? I didn't bleed with any of my earlier internals.

probably the start of the plug coming out. If you are crampy it is probably almost time.

Hope so! Thanks. You'd think I'd know all this by 3rd baby, but first was induced at 41w1d and 2nd came at 41 wks. I lost my plug and went into labor a few hours later. I'm hoping to go earlier this time than 41 w.

Same thing happened to me. I wasn't dilated barely even a fingertip at that internal.
That was a Thursday. That night or the next day I noticed the same thing- like I was losing my plug.
I had DD that Tuesday

I think it's the plug. Maybe the exam stirred things up, but a blob of mucus with cramps sounds like the start of something in my experience! Good luck!

Probably the plug. I lost mine right about that time. But, a week and a half later, I was induced. I was past my due date and had low fluid.

Still here! Tuesday's stuff may have been from exam or the very start of plug. I didn't see anything since then. I had bad cramps that day, but they stopped. But today, I woke up and definitely lost my plug (or the rest of it). No mistaking it this time. Hopefully things will start moving now.
