anyone know where to get these without breaking our wallets. I went to price these out the other day for our living room bay window and they wanted $1,200. I just can't see myself spending that much $$$ on window treatments. TIA

We got ours online from Smith & Noble. We had been quoted over $400 for 2 but we got them from Smith & Noble for $200 aprox & free shipping.

Wow, thanks. I will check out their website. Are you happy with yours? My husband wants to make sure that they are the "privacy" ones....so that people can't see through.

i met w/ a woman and her partner the other day for window treatments and she is affiliated w/ a "blind/shade guy". i can get the info for you if you want.

check country curtains as well. the fabric mill can order custom shades and blinds too.

Sure that would be great. Thanks. Did you use them? FM when you have a chance. This way I can shop around and get a good price. I never dreamed that window treatments were sooooooo much $$$$$ Chat Icon Chat Icon

Yes they have all sorts - diff size pleats etc. The only mistake I made was not making them dark enough b/c they are in our bedroom. They came within a week & their cust service was great. They went over everything with me. They where easy to install also.

These are going to go in our living room bay window which goes from our feet to above our heads so it's important that they are the privacy ones so no one can see in. My husband likes to walk around the house in his underwear and doesn't want anyone to see him.Chat Icon Chat Icon Thanks again.

Try blinds to go, I got pleated shades from them, but just the ones that come up from the bottom, and they were very reasonable.

A friend of mine has windows like this. She is a super neat freak adn dosnt like blinds b/c of the dust. What she did was tint the windows they are great for a few reasons. 1. your furiniture dosnt fade, 2. you can see out perfectly but no one can see in. 3 makes the house a little cooler in the summer.
They arnt like car window tinting either it looks almost bronze from the outside and their is no glare on them.
Just a thought.

Mmmm, that's interesting. I've never of this before. Do you know where she bought them? I'm curious to check to it.
