Three Village, Mt Sinai and Miller Place are all on the north shore... they are all out east as well...
From West to East, the school districts go:
Smithtown, Three Village, Pt Jefferson, Comsewogue, Mt. Sinai, Miller Place, Rocky Point, Shorham Wading River, then Riverhead

Riverhead has some great Elem schools... but i havent heard the greatest things about the MS and HS...

I'd choose Miller Place over Mt Sinai
I went to Rocky Point which is a great school as well.
I'd choose Mt Sinai over Miller Place, though.

i definitely agree. miller place and smithtown are supposed to be 2 of the best on the island.
