Please tell me I can take something for flu like symptons
1st off is it still flu season?
So I'm having horrible body achs(my whole body hurts so bad when I roll over in bed or when the blanket touches me), massive headach, sick to my stomach, fever, very stuffy nose, ear ach, sore throat....Yea I'm a mess and this all happen in 24 hrs!
I'm going to the doctor on monday but I'm praying I'll feel better by then my questions is.......... Besides tylenol(which I took for the fever) is there anything eles I can do to feel a little better!?

Gatorade will put back anything you lose going number 2 or throwing up.
stick to a brat diet....
bananas
rice
applesauce
toast
this could also be a variant of the stomach virus going around...i am so sorry!!!!

I just got over it. There is a 48 hr. virus going around with flu like symptoms. It is terrible. My OB told me to take 2 extra strength tylenol and go to bed and make sure I stay hydrated.

I just got over it. There is a 48 hr. virus going around with flu like symptoms. It is terrible. My OB told me to take 2 extra strength tylenol and go to bed and make sure I stay hydrated.
I hope your feeling better I pray its only 48hrs cause I'm in a lot of pain!! I just took 2 extra strength tylenol and my head is pounding as much. This is the worst feeling ever!! I can't even sleep cause I have the worse achs and pains.

I am so sorry you are feeling like this Tara I have no advice, but try to rest all day & definately stay hydrated with the Gatorade!

I went to the dr today.. my primary care dr because of a horrible cold I have. I ended up having a sinus infection  .. but the good news is she gave me a list of meds that are ok during pregnancy. The list has a little more on it than the one my OB gave me. She prescribed me Zithromax for the infection and said its totally fine. The list is in the car.. but the names I remember off the top of my head are:
Tylenol (extra strength)
Sudafed
Tylenol Sinus
lol.. thats all I can remember but Im going to post on a new thread with all of them later when I feel like getting my sick tush off the couch.

ugh horrible!!! Fever is down but the achs and pains are this here. My ob wants to see me tomorrow cause I'm having some nasty sharp pains in my stomach. I think its the full blown flu I have. I'm going on day 3 of feeling crappy. Thanks for checkin in

oh sweety..... May i ask if the sharp pain in the tummy is like the baby is holding a knife?????
That is the pain that sent me to the ER...they said it was because i was pulling muscles vomiting so badly....

yup jess right under my belly button it comes and gos in waves. But I'm getting sharp pains on my right side to.

it's possible you have that horrible stomach virus sweety.... I was sick for 7-8 days....
i truly hope you feel better soon... unfortunately, nothing worked for me to take...i was doing nothing but drinking gatorade for 3 days...then i moved to bananas, crackers, etc... Zofran stopped the vomiting, but NOTHING stopped the non-stop number 2...that was the worst part...
Good thing though - Dave got it - and he was sick for less than 24 hours - so maybe you'll have the shorter version!!!!!!!!!!

yeah I've been eating soup and drinking water for the past 3 days. Not fun! I hope my ob can do SOMETHING for me tomorrow!
Poor dh is getting sick now he has the body achs. I hope tomorrow is my last day of feeling this way!! I can't do this for another day.
