Please recommend a restaurant in western Suffolk...

Besito in Huntington and if its nice out, the front wall opens up and you can sit "outside"http://www.besitomex.com/

Vittorio's on 110 in Amityville. Between Sunrise and Merrick. Great food and great atmosphere.

ANYTHING on that strip of restaurants in Huntington Village (Besitio being one of them as PP mentioned)! You can't go wrong with any of them IMO! We usually walk around and pick one that interests us that night! My DH and I love going there! On nice nights people are spilling out of the restaurants and bars (in a good way - with outdoor seating) as well as fun music! They also have a bunch of ice cream shops and "CRUMBS" bake shop for dessert!
So fun!

Totally agree, great restaruants in Huntington, like RED, Piccolo (a bit off the main strip).
I also LOVE Millpond in Centerport. On the water can sit inside or out, great atmosphere and a great food.

I love Grasso's in Cold Spring Harbor and they have live music certain nights, so nice and romantic!

I would recommend AGAINST Bestio.
But for macs and Prime, both in Huntington Village.
