this is my parents house i love how it looks!! (these are from when it was first done so there was no railing)

That big planter in the back with the fountain is  gorgeous!!
When you say brick, I think red brick, plain. We had all pavers but in the second pics posted, there's a mix of both.
Pavers, or paving stones, come in a variety of sizes, colors, textures, finishes. The two major manufacturers you see a lot are Nicoloc and Cambridge. They have a lot of pics on their websites of jobs done, that's where we got a lot of our ideas before we had the patio put in.
