PLease help, since you guys know so much
I am sorry for posting here but you have helped in the past and need words of wisdom. I am under an anonymous name.
Yesterday I found out I am approx. 5 weeks pregnant. It was a complete surprise since I have been having fertility problems and have not gotten my period in months and have been takkin clomid and provera and other fertility drugs with no changes. Anyway, I went to see a fertility specialist yesterday and lo and behold I am preggo, my gyno missed it. UGHGHGH. Anyway, my big worry is I was in Florida all week and had 1 rum runner, 1 martini, 2 smirnoff ices and a glass of wine during the week. I am sooooooo nervous. The specialiast said its ok but.... PLease let me know is that horrible?

Congratulations! That is such exciting news and I'm so happy for you.
I would not worry at all about the few drinks you had in Florida. It so earlier in your pregnancy that you could not have possibly hurt your little bean at all. Relax and enjoy!

Ditto! I agree. I've read that it's too early for any damage to be done. Many women do not know when they are preggos that early on. Think back 30 years ago... before every home test known to man... I'm sure my mom had no idea she was preggos with me at 5 weeks.
Congrats! That's wonderful news  (sparkling cider from now on )

Congratulations!!!! I would not worry at ALL about the drinks you had!! Why mom drank through all 6 of us and we were all healthy bouncing babies!!

congrats!!!! DO NOT WORRY abot the drinks.
My girlfriend was loaded a few days before her BFP, I mean we had a party, then the next day was a wedding...she is a big drinker too, and she has a beautiful healthy baby boy

Thank you all so much, the specialist just caled and my bloodwork came back and she said everything looks really good.
