Please help me plan a menu for DS's 1st birthday

He'll be 1 in August. We are having 2 parties. 1 for just family and 1 for friends and their kids. For the family party I am just doing heroes and making mac n cheese and chicken fingers for the kids. For the friends party, I am doing Heroes, Potato and Macaroni salad and Chicken fingers for the kids. I need another 2 dishes to cater. It'll be a back yard party, but I don't want to have to BBQ or really cook anything. So, what would you have for a back yard birthday party in August? I know it's early, but i like to have these things planned. I'm, just starting to get everything together now. TIA!

For the girls first birthday we did chips n dips, BBQ and Buffalo wings, chicken marsala, baked ziti, sausage and peppers, heros (italian, american, and chicken cutlet w/roasted pepper and mozzarella), pot and mac salads, mac n cheese and chicken fingers for the kids. I had it catered except for the ziti which my mom made and eggplant rollatini that my uncle made.

This year we are cutting it down and doing chips and dips, heros (italian, american, chicken cutlet again) w/ pot and mac salads, honey garlic wings, mac n cheese, chicken fingers and either sausage and peppers or ziti.

Thanks ladies! Sausage and peppers are so easy, I can bake that in the oven myself. So maybe I'll make that myself and cater a pasta dish!
