please give me your honest opinion
the room that we are going to temporarily use as the nursery has pale yellow walls. Both me & dh hate painting so we were planning to keep the walls that color. We found bedding last night that would go with yellow walls, but do you think this would look okay for a boy? Or should we just paint the walls blue?

The window treatment will make all the difference in whether the room looks girl or boy -- just wait on that until you know the gender.

well, we know that its a boy..We both do like the bedding and figured it would go with either yellow or blue walls.

Yellow is always the universal wall color for boy or gilr.

ITA. I think it is very neutral. I would not go crazy painting, bu you can add wall art that might make it more masculine if you are worried.

If you like the yellow I wouldn't paint it is a gender neutral color and would look nice with that bedding. I would only paint blue if you feel strongly against the yellow - otherwise I certainly don't think you need to paint.

my nephew has the exact same bedding. i think its perfect for a boy. and i think yellow is fine.

I LOVE the bedding-it's adorable! I think the yellow would be great. You can add "boy touches" with accessories, etc. Good choice

That's the set we registered for. We are expecting a girl but want a baby's room - not a specific boy or girl room until our kids are older.
We are painting the room very light yellow with a light green area rug and I'll probably just use the valance over a shade or I might hang light green curtains with it.
I'm considering painting a mural on the wall with fence, pasture and the barn from the set in the distance.
