platform bed vs. traditional bed with boxspring and mattress
We are considering a b-room set with a platform bed. I have heard mixed reviews on them .A friend of mine has complained that there isn't enough support. Any and all opinions are welcome, especially those with platform beds!!!!

I have a friend who's always had platform beds. I like that a traditional bed has storage space beneath, but I also like those captain's beds, which have no boxspring. I would guess that a platform bed would have firmer support, so if that's what you like you'd probably be happy.

I have a platform bed with no boxspring and love it! I also have storage space under the bed.

I have a platform with no box spring, the only thing I hate is its more difficult to change the sheets than on the traditional bed!

We used to have a platform bed, but I am much happier now with our boxspring/mattress, it is just more comfortable.

any store that sells mattresses can sell you only a boxspring if that's what you need.
