Picture overload and Dutch Wonderland Review!
We just got back from our vacation and I have a ton of pictures.
We went upstate to visit inlaws and then met my brother and his family in Lancaster and did Dutch Wonderland. DD had such a great time.
For anyone thinking of going, DD is two and had a great time-2 is a good age for this park 2.5 might be even better and I probably would not take a little one much younger then that (unless you had older toddlers/kids since it is free under 3 anyway). I would put the upper threshold at around 8, older than they and some of the rides might seem boring.
We stayed at the Comfort Suites, about 1/2 mile down the street from the park. It's a brand new hotel and was really nice and it included a continental breakfast. It also had an indoor pool. Now that we know the lay of the land, if we go back we might look into one of the hotels that has an ourdoor pool and a park-I think the Holiday Inn Express had this. It would give us something to do during our down time.
We did a little outlet shopping and there is a playground on the outlet grounds which was nice.
Also, one of the places we ate dinner was the Steamboat Inn (I think the restaurant is called Fulton's). It was fantastic.

Can you tell that food is pretty much the only thing I think about?
