Petro Oil

Shopping around for a service maintenance contract and deliveries and petro gave me the best price so far. I just want any feedback about them.

Re: Petro Oil

We've been really happy with them. They're real quick when we need service calls.

Wow, I just went through this and wanted Petro above all others because they're supposed to have the best service. But they had the highest prices of anyone and I had a hard time deciding on them or going with someone cheaper.

If you get them cheap, go for it!

FYI - I got them at $2.84 for an annual cap, $99 for the annual service plan and $2.64 for the first delivery, with $100 off that first delivery. If they're giving you any numbers higher than that, negotiate! I called them 4 times and was able to get them lower and lower each time.

Re: Petro Oil

Petro has great service - we've used them since 2001 and we've been very happy with the service. Their prices will fluxuate with the market and when we're looking to set our contract for the year DH will watch what's going on with oil prices and call them periodically over a few weeks before he settles on the price.

Re: Petro Oil

i had them for the last couple of years. i didnt renew this past year cause they wanted to quote me a cap of $3.55 when Trager oil quoted a cap of $2.99. Petro had just made a delivery the week before the quote at $3.25
I ended up going with Romanelli oil with a $2.69 cap which is also what their current rate is at. Also the contract was like $125 vs petro over $200
