You can also claim a specific amount. Why don't you talk to your tax guy about the max amount that can be deducted each check so that you won't owe anything at the end of the year.

DH claims M3 and I claim M0 and we actually still get money back.
A big return is nice, but why let the fed gov't make interest on your money?

on the irs.gov website there is a calculator where you put in your info and it tells you what you should claim, might be helpful

DH and I both claim married 0 even with a child and still pay. Dh even takes out a sum every week to go to federal to help pay less at the end of the year.
