I live in merrick and all my neighbors have landscapers. They pretty much use the same company and start very early also and are there for HOURS. It is so annoying! All you hear all day is a d@mn blower and lawnmover.

 I was thinking need to be shot ...kiddingly of course 
During the winter, DH won't even use the snowblower on weekday mornings - If we get a snowstom during the week, we do it the old fashioned way with shovels. I know it's very considerate of him, but man, the snowblower would be soooo much easier -for me

My hubby is also SUPER considerate like that.
He feels bad using the snowblower or the lawn mower even as late as 10 AM on the weekends.
I am like honey- I'm sure 10 am is ok.
I can't imgaine making nosie so early though- some people have no consideration!

When I lived at my parent's the house around the corner would do the same thing!!! It would be Tuesday 20 min before I had to wake up for school.
One day I got so mad I marched around the corner in my PJs and screamed at them....they thought I was crazy but they started promptly at 8 from then on......

When I was tending bar and coming in at 7am it really used to tick me off to get woken up 1/2 hour later to lawnmowers & stuff.

Wow, he is very considerate - I think 10AM is OK too, but some people dolike to sleep in
Last summer we had a neighbor who was clearing part of his lot - every weekend for a month he'd start the chainsaw at 6Am

Every Saturday morning I wake up at 5 AM.
First thing I do is let out my pack of dogs out into the yard so they can greet the neighborhood good morning!
Then I start up every lawn-care appliance I have. My work can't be delayed by having to stop and turn something on. This way I can ride my mower while trimming bushes on one side and chain-sawing low tree limbs on another, with a leaf-blower duct-taped to the back.
Once the lawn is taken care of, I find it's necessary to start up the car and rev its engine for 10-15 minutes. You know, to really clean out the engine of grime built up during workday commutes. Not to mention that while I'm in the car, I feel it's needed that I crank the radio at full volume with my favorite big hair, 80's, glam-rock bands.
After that's done, I'll bring in the garbage cans. But these are the old, metallic cans. I'm exhausted by this point, so I just throw them against the side of the house. Sometimes I miss and hit the neighbor's fence, but it happens.
Finally, as I go back inside and let the dogs in, I'll open and slam the screen door a few times. I want to make sure its in working shape, so I repeat this about 50-100 times just to play it safe.
I go back to bed at this point and hope the jerk neighbors down the block didn't hire lawn-care specialists again that arrive early. People are trying to sleep around here!
