Pediatric Dermatologist
Need help finding one. My ped said there is only one on the island and they don't have anything available until end of Jan.  Does anyone know of any other dermatologist that will see kids.

We went to a derm in Commack. I believe it was Dr. Hayman he was on Vets Hwy. He was very good. If he is the one your ped is talking about I would call and ask about cancellations.

We saw Dr Klein and he was wonderful!!!!! 928-7922
I can't remember exactly where his office is, but I want to say it was in E. Setauket.

Our dr also recommended Hayman and we decided to go with Klein. I am almost definate they are in the same office.

We've seen Dr. Leonard Kristal. He's affiliated with LIJ (I think) but he has an office in Commack as well right on Vets Highway. Im not sure if he is in the same office as Dr Hayman or not...

I need one too and I was recommended to one in Lake Success.
They used to be in Commack.
I rather the commack area.

WE saw Dr. Kristal in Lake Success and there was a long wait to see him when we booked as well. However, if you keep calling the office every few days, they might have a cancellation and be able to fit you in sooner. We did that and got in a lot sooner than we would have. One of the women in the office told me to do that, so don't feel like you are annoying them, they are just too busy to call anyone if there is a cancellation.
