PBA dental insurance recs for root canal

I most likely will need my 1st root canal done and I only have DH's dental insurance through the PBA.
Im scared to death of it.
Can anyone recommend one of these covered doctors?

Dr. Jack Gruber in New Hyde Park. He's on Lakeville Rd and sees many cops including my DH.

Not Suffolk but close. Dr Romeo in Massapequa Or sunrise Dental Assoc in Massapequa. (There are a few, but I see Dr Genna)
