Were you given a 16 week sonogram? I had my 12week NT scan today. When I mentioned that we'll have to wait until week 20 to find out our team she said or earlier if I have a 16 week sonogram. DS was born in 2008 and the only sonos I had were a 6wk (to make sure it wasn't a tubal pregnancy) 8wk, 20wk, and 32wk. Is it protocol now to give a 16 week in addition to the 12 and 20 week. Or do you not have a 20 week if you have a 16wk? Or does this office only do a 20wk after the 12 wk? Just wonderin....

I'm not with that dr, but it depends on what your insurance covers. At the minimum, all insurance cover 8w, 12w and 20w unless you need additional scans for medical reasons.

I only had a 20 week after my 12 week. My guess is that maybe they can do the anatomy scan as early as 16 weeks so instead of waiting until 20 weeks you could go earlier.
