I prefer dinner parties... if we had a pool, I think I would prefer BBQs...honestly, I like having company so any of the above is nice...

I have only done formal- and it's way too much work!

I like it all but prefer dinner parties. I'm big on presentation/decorating and you can really go crazy if it's an intimate dinner party as opposed to casual gathering.

So far, I've only hosted a baby shower with 16 guests.
As soon as my patio furniture arrives, I hope to have a lot more parties!

I have hosted up to 15 people.
it's fun, you just can't stress about,everyone will have a good time.
