Parking at JFK
Does anyone have any recommendations on where to park at JFK and prices for 6 days? I'm trying to determine if we're better off taking car service from NJ or staying at a hotel with free parking (any recs. for that are also welcome).

I priced it out a few weeks ago. I forget the actual prices (they should be listed on the website) but I remember it was going to be about $50-$60 for three days.
We decided to take the train to Jamaica and then the air train over to JFK. The air train is only $5 pp and runs every 4-10 minutes.

I believe its either $15 or $20 a day for long term parking there.

We use AviStar when parking at JFK. It is offsite but has shuttles. This is the only parking lot we use as they are recommended by my hubby's job.

We use it as well (it was recommended by DH's old job as well).
A lot of times if you park over 5 days you get a day free (there used to be coupons on the JetBlue website).
Just make sure you make a reservation because they do fill up!

I have used avistar as well and they're great! Plus they keep the cars locked up.
This last time we stayed at the Ramada Inn and parked for 7 days there (included in the stay), but there is no security for your car.
Otherwise to park at JFK is $20 a day.
