Paint Fumes at work
They are painting 3 offices down the hall from me, and the paint fumes have given me such a bad headache.
No one here knows I am pregnant yet (I am only 6 weeks along) so I can't even say anything.

Can you find out if they are using water based paint? If they are not - you need to leave... claim a migrane...
My company installed carpet a few weeks ago and i can still smell the chemicals. If I wasn't in the last few months of my pg I'd work from home.
But since you are still in early stages, I would probably leave if I were you.

leave leave leave! Claim migrane with nausea and go home. do not breath in the fumes to whatever those guys are doing. Construction frequently requires the use of super-toxic industrial grade stuff!
We have construction near me too.... sometimes there are these strong solvent smells... other times its the smell of melting tar paper from the roof work. I vacate the premesis every time.
