Paint finishes
I have a new house, and the entire interior was painted with flat paint. It looks awful after only 6 months -- scuffs and stains on the walls that can't be removed by washing.
I just finished painting one of the rooms in the house, and I used the Benjamin Moore eggshell finish. I always used eggshell finish in my other house (usually Behr), but I think this finish is shinier than the Behr eggshell. Is this possible? Or is it just my imagination because I am looking at it compared to the flat finish that was on the walls? Could it be that the finish is different with different manufacturers, or could it just be that in the other house I used more pastel colors and now I am using darker colors so they are just appearing shinier?
As I get ready to paint the other rooms in the house, should I consider the BM scrubbable flat? The guy at Aboff's swears it is scrubbable, but I'm a little hesitant since it is still a flat. Has anybody used this? Is it actually washable/scrubbable?

we used the bm matte flat in several rooms & love it! you really can wash it.

We love it too. I use the "magic eraser" on the walls and any marks come right off. Try that.

Its scrubbable, plus the guy at Aboffs wouldn't lie, He's probably my Dad!!! (He works there)
