The pain management docs I know are all in Suffolk (Dr. Groth in Smithtown, Dr. Litman in Bay Shore, Dr. Shalmi in Babylon). You can try Dr. Ali Guy. I think he is in Westbury and I think he may offer pain management.

Dr. Edward Rubin. He is great. I have a chronic back problem and I had emergency surgery last week and he came to the recovery room after my surgery to ensure that they were treating my pain correctly. He is at Winthrop. I see him in the Lake Success office. He doesn't just see anyone. He requires all scans, doctors records and if you have seen another pain management doctor, the records from them. It took about 2 weeks for him to review all of my records and then decide if he was going to see me or not. He is kind of short and to the point. Young guy and talks like that guy in Ferris Buhler's Day Off. "Buhler....Buhler..." But he is a great doctor. If you go to the Winthrop website you can get his number.
