Overnight trip PNP question?

so we anticipate having some overnighters in the next couple of months...DD is prob too big for the bassinet part of her PNP. We have never used it and its in the box. Do I have her sleep in the bottom of the PNP? Isn't it too hard?

Neither grandparents have cribs at their house

I don't think it's too hard. We went away for a week when DD was 3 months--she slept in the bottom part. Even if she still did fit in the top, I wouldn't want to bring that extra piece and those poles if I didn't have to.

is it? She's 16lbs - i thought it was 15lbs (darn i guess i'll need to dig out the manual).

i used the changing table part when she was first born. DH hates putting that thing together Chat Icon Chat Icon

thanks bicosi... here's another -if she usually sleeps with a wedge for reflux - how can i safely make one for her in the PNP?

The top part is only good up to 15 months. (my 3.5 YO weighs 30 lbs. now! lol)

Go out and buy a PNP fitted sheet. I'm sure you can slip the wedge under the fitted sheet. Chat Icon

good luck! I won't lie. it's going to be a little tricky getting the baby in and out of the bottom part, but t's going to be just fine. Chat Icon

Re: Overnight trip PNP question?

If the wedge doesn't fit, we used books underneath to get the right angle too.
You can also grab a fitted quilted mattress protector made by graco, it gives it a tiny bit more cushion.

Both my girls sleep in PNP when they go to visit NY, they sleep fineChat Icon
