Over Water Bungalows
DH and I are trying to plan a trip for possibly June or July. I have always wanted to stay in an "Over the Water Bungalow" but I can't really decide where to go for that. I know there are many options in Tahiti, but I really wanted to try something different. I was really interested in Fiji and I saw they have one resort - "Likuliku" that has over water "bures" but there were some mixed reviews on trip advisor about the water on the beach at that resort.
I'd love to hear some experiences and places that anyone may have to share. I am pretty much looking for an exotic and romantic getaway that is both relaxing and a once in a lifetime experience. Ultimately, I'd LOVE to go to the Maldives, but it's such a hike to get over there.
Any insight??

We leave one month from today for Tahitti, Bora Bora, and Moorea. We did a ton of research and were between Bali, Figi and Tahitti and Tahitti won! We are staying in the over water bungalows at the Intercontintental resorts on all 3 islands.

My SIL did this in Fiji and they absolutely loved it...I will find out the name of the resort!
ETA: She stayed at Likuliku in Fiji for her honeymoon and absolutely loved it!!
