Opinions, please! (man gift!)
Rich wears a shirt and tie everyday, and haaaates when his tie moves around - he has several tie tacks, but they're making big holes in his ties.
Solution: TIE BAR! 
Which one do you like better? I already ordered one and had it rushed, but I'm having second thoughts.
I'm going for "simple & masculine". He couldn't care less if its a big fancy name or not - he's pretty "anti-brand".
Opinions, please!!!

I like #1 b/c it looks like it would go with any shirt/tie combo he wears.
DH wears a gold tie clip when he's wearing a gold watch, and a silver tie clip when he wears a silver watch....so that tie clip (#1) goes with both!

see, that makes sense. But, in my reasoning, #2 seemed more subtle, so i voted for that on to 'go with anything'. Now, i'm torn

I should've mentioned - Rich only wears white metal. I just think the 2-toned look is nice!

OK - I bought #2.
Its the same price as #1 (if I was to purchase #1 in all silver, no gold)....
*I* personally got a little caught up in the Tiffany name, so I started having second thoughts. Now that I'm thinking about it further, I think the clip thingy on the back is a good idea for him - he's an active 4th grade teacher and already lost ONE tie tack.
I'll give him #2, and if he's not crazy about it, I'll show him #1

As a guy who used to wear ties (thank goodness my current job doesn't require ties!), I like the clip-on version better than the slide. A slide is more likely to fall off and/or snag a silk tie.
