One of the Howard beach Vicitms
Was arrested last night after robbing someone on a subway with a gun.
BUT they are good kids right.

Downtown Brooklyn -WABC, July 11, 2005) — One of the victims in the alleged bias attack in Howard Beach is now under arrest for armed robbery.
Eyewitness News reporter Nina Pineda joins us live outside the courthouse in Downtown Brooklyn with the story.
The victim in this case allegedly became the victimizer - 20-year-old Richie Wood, one of the three men police say was targeted because of his race in Howard Beach, has been arrested and charged with armed robbery after allegedly mugging an 18-year-old after confronting the teenager on the subway.
The suspect was one of the victims in the Howard Beach bias beating. He admits to police he was in Howard Beach along with beating victim Glen Moore and another man looking for a car to steal when they were confronted by three white men.
Nineteen-year-old Nicholas Minucci, still behind bars, is accused of beating Moore with a baseball bat until he was unconscious, while using racial slurs against all three men in an early morning foot chase.
Richie Wood escaped by running into a marsh, prosecutors say, but this time he couldn't run away fast enough. Mr. Wood will be arraigned on charges that he and other suspects stole a gold chain and a wallet from a passenger on the A train Sunday night.
Police sources say Wood and his friend intimidated the victim with a gun at the Grant Street station in East New York, threatening him with the weapon until forcibly grabbing the goods and running. He was arrested about 45 minutes later.
Police say the victim in this case was able to follow his muggers and point them out to police. Also Mr. Glen Moore, who suffered a fractured skull, is apparently doing much better. He's been discharged from Jamaica Hospital.

Since this report they have called DHs cousin into work extra shifts in this area, and this is not his precinct. They are expecting this to "blow up" in the neighborhood

I take the A train right by Rockaway Blvd (since i live right down the block) to work....Today I saw about 20 cops by the station....wonder if this has something to do w/it..............!

I would bet....I think that is where DH cousin was yesterday. Normally he works in a neighboring precinct.
