One cent pennies that have the wheat on the back
I found 2 pennies on is 1917 and another one that is 1918s now I am wondering if they are worth Lots of money? if so if they were worth lots of money my question is would you save it so it can add to alot more or sell it and get the money for it???

Does it have an s under the date?
Older pennies with s's under the year are worth about $200 right now.
If it doesnt have an s under the year it can range from being sold for $20-$40.

I have ALOT of wheat pennies so I'll have to check this. Would they be worth selling or holding on to & if selling where or to who would you sell them?

I only know a little...they dont go up in price all that much. If you held onto them for 50 yrs , they might be worth more then of course.
The ones with the "s" under the year are ( and I dont know why) special of some sort and get the most money.
ETA_ you can look in the phone book under coin sales...or look online for coin buyers.

I am no expert on coins, but I am pretty sure the reason the coins with an "S" on them may be more valuable is that they were minted in San Francisco. the San Francisco Mint no longer produces circulating coins, just the coins that are produced for collections.
