Montana has voted to establish 21 as the legal age to purchase, possess and consume cannabis by constitutional amendment, CNN projects. This adds to the growing list of states to approve marijuana-related ballot measures this year.
Arizona and New Jersey voted to legalize recreational marijuana, while South Dakota approved legalization for both recreational and medical use, CNN projects.
South Dakota will be the first state ever to approve medical and recreational marijuana measures at the same time.
Results have not yet been determined for Montana's other ballot question related to legalizing recreational marijuana and Mississippi's medical marijuana measure.

On a lighter note... Marijuana votes...
I am all for it and wish it would be a federal legalization for recreational and medicinal. Recreational would bring so much money to each state. Just look at Colorado and the incline in California.

ITA. Any kind of vice, the government can tax it as much as they want, and people will pay it. Just like cigarettes, which is why they still aren't outright banned. Too much revenue.
I am looking forward to a Federal legalization for both medical and recreational use.

It was shot down in the past but Cuomo said it's on the agenda down the line. In the past he didn't support it...

I think it’ll happen soon being that NJ legalized it. It should be legal everywhere. Everyone’s smoking it anyway  may as well make $ on it for the state
