OMG! My first real cause for my infertility! Update
My husband has a balanced translocation of chromosomes 1 and 16. I don't know really what these means yet because I haven't spoken to the doctor just the geneticist. I know that I will need PGD.
The really weird/annoying thing is that I went to the geneticist before we even started trying to conceive in October 2007 for testing. I wanted to be tested for everything because I am neurotic. They saw no reason to test me for a translocation.
Does anyone have this issue and what does it mean in terms of getting pregnant?
UPDATE: I just spoke to Braverman. He still feels like I can get pregnant. He said it was my choice regarding the PGD but he seemed to think that it is better not to do it.

I don't have that issue but wanted to give you hugs 
I think that chromosomal problems have more to do with staying pregnant than getting pregnant, but I'm not 100% sure on that!

I hope it all works out for you.
What the OP said is true I believe
from my experience I am able to get pregnant it was just that my embryo's had chromosomal issues(down syndrome) which most of the time causes miscarriages.
