OMG last night was nuts - this could only happen to me

DD was running a fever for 2 days, but was fever free for 24 hours as of 6pm last night. She had no signs of a cold, cough, ear infection, etc. She was in pretty good spirits until 7pm and then.....

Starting at 7pm she just starting screaming and screaming and screaming. I tried reading, rocking, rubbing, bottle, etc. NOTHING I did would get her to stop. She fell asleep for about a 1/2 hour and then it started again. I finally brought her into my bed and we cuddled. I gave her a sippy with water. She cuddled with the CUP and finally fell asleep at 11pm. She was up and down, whining, tossing and turning until about 3am. She was finally out cold at 3am so I put her in her crib. She slept until 6:30

No fever and no ear infection (I have that ear check machine.) Do you know what I think it was??? At about 6:30 she was chewing something. I fished it out of her mouth - it was 1/2 of a cat treat. (I know gross!!) Diary flavor - ummm DD is allergic to milk. I can't have a cat that likes fish flavor can I??? Only me Poor baby.

DH picked the right night to go away!

Wow! What a night! I hope she feels better today and you have a much easier day today.
